2012 Dean Family calendar

So it is officially January 19, 2012 and I FINALLY finished the 2012 Dean Family calendar...only a month later!! Nobody told me that when you have three kids you're either always late or you can't get anything done. Carisa, I don't know how you do it?!

I wanted to let you all know that unfortunetly I am not financially able to order one for everybody this year so, if you would like a calendar I would be happy to order one for you and have it shipped directly to your house and we can work out a payment method. The new calendar is full of birthdays, anniversaries & some new updated pictures. Just email me at hautehazel@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Way to go Logan!!

Logan, I am so jealous, Pheasants are about the only bird we don't have in Arizona. Nice shot Dude, that bird had no chance.. that was awesome!

Newest member pics

Sorry they're sideways, we don't kow how to flip it. Ellie is loved by the whole gang, this was the first day of full school. The really colorful outfit was my favorite (the bow on her head makes her look like a fruitbowl head dancing girl, ha!). Kailey loves her sister so much! Ellie now is 2 months old and she weighs 12 pounds, look at the chubby legs, they're so cute!

Indiana Update

Ben and Ellie hanging out together, laughing at the rest who have to run. The kids are happy it's over after their marathon finishing run. They ran 26.2 miles throughout the summer. This summer had unbearable heat records and humidity and they ran through it all! We are so proud of their accomplishment, especially since none of them, except Tyler, like to run!

Utah July 2011

It was great seeing almost all of the family over the 4th of July. We had a lot of fun, some might even say too much fun if that is possible. I can't wait to see the other pictures from this trip from those who had there camera's there - here is just a sampling of the fun:

Taylor and Lexi at
Utah Hoogle Zoo

Styler, Brody, Katie, Taylor, Eric and Lexi
cooling off at Thanksgiving Point Gardens

Styler and Eric playing in the fountain

Tara, Taylor and Katie looking beautiful

Here is the best group shot I have :)

Chaga, chaga, choo-choo...here comes the train
Taylor, Brody, Katie, Sydney, Styler and Lexi

After the gardens, we visited Thanksgiving Point's Farm Country

Giddy-up Brody!

Styler is all smiles

Taylor the horse whisperer

Everyone got to milk the cow - here Katie is showing us how to do it

Sydney helped feed that milk to the hungry babies

After a long hot day at Thanksgiving Point we went to the Mayan for dinner.
Styler, Sydney, Lexi, Taylor, Katie and Brody tamed the snake.

The next day we went to Classic Fun Center.

Katie loading her weapon in the Blast Zone.

Taylor and Brody are ready for action.

Lexi on top of the World.

The kids lined up: Styler, Brody, Lexi, Taylor and Katie.

To keep the fun times rolling we went bowling and miniature golfing the very next day.

And that night the adults went out to The Tavernacle, a dueling piano bar.

Along with all the fun we were excited to meet Brayden.

Ellie is beautiful!

Wade, thanks for posting the beautiful pictures of Ellie, it is great to be able to see our new niece/cousin.
Jen, I think Wade is showing you up, it would be great to be able to see pictures of Brayden too. (hint, hint)

Enjoy your summer!

GOD's Celebration

We had been waiting for our lilly's to bloom the year which they did on the day Ellie was born. The kids knew it was God celebrating the birth of thier new sister.

Ellie pics with kids

Here are the proud sister and brothers. Ben's first reaction to his new baby sister was to give her a kiss as seen in his picture.

New Addition

Here are some pics of Eleanore Ann Hansen "Ellie"Born 6/18/11. She was 9.4 and 21 inches. We are happy to finally have her here and can't wait to bring her home.

meet "THE BEAST"

With the addition of family member number eight our 7 passanger van was busted at the seams. So we had to find something else. So take a look at our new vehicle. A 2010 12 passenger van nicknamed "The Beast". You know you are big when you are looking down at people driving full sized trucks. You also know you are big when you come out of a store and can scan the parking lot to find where you are parked and can find the van with no problems because there is nothing bigger than it in the parking lot. It is awesome. Now if I could only convince Carisa to allow me to lift it a foot, put big mudders on it, and a huge exhaust then we could call it the "ultimate beast!"

Taylor and Katie's Swim Meet

Taylor smoked everyone today at her swim meet. In three of the four events she beat the other girls in her heat by at least half the pool length. She took 1st place in all four events!

Katie did awesome on her backstroke, she took 1st place! She did so good, especially for this being her first swim meet. She fought us on swimming the butterfly and breaststroke but she ended up getting two 1st place ribbons, 1 second place and 1 third place. Maybe next week she will be looking forward to swimming all four strokes.

Memorial Day in AZ

After seeing Phil's pictures of what he woke up to on Memorial Day I thought I would share how we spent our day. It was a beautiful 98 degrees and the water temperature was 84, can't beat it.

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt... which happened about 30 minutes after this video. Bill decided to show off for the girls and ended up being out of work injured for the rest of the week... all in all it was a pretty good weekend.
